Social media is valuable but it takes longer to generate returns so it is usually the third or fourth layer rather than the starting point. How much should a startup spend on digital marketing? +
There is no universal answer. It depends on your sector, your goals, and how quickly you need customers. What we always recommend is starting with the highest-impact channel for your specific situation and doing it properly rather than spreading a small budget across everything and getting thin results everywhere. We are always honest about what is achievable at different budget levels and we never push you to spend more than makes sense.
Can you help a business that has not launched yet? +
Yes, and we would encourage it. Getting your website built, your Google Business Profile set up, and your SEO foundations in place before you launch means you hit the ground running rather than starting from scratch after you go live. We work with pre-launch businesses regularly and can have everything ready to go for your launch date.
How long before I start seeing results? +
It depends on the channel. Google Ads can start generating enquiries within days of going live. SEO typically takes three to six months to show meaningful results, though some early movement can happen sooner. Social media builds over time. We are always transparent about realistic timelines and we never overpromise on how quickly organic channels will deliver, because doing so sets everyone up for disappointment.
Am I tied into a long-term contract? +
No. Everything is monthly rolling with no long-term tie-ins. If you want to stop, you simply give notice and are responsible for the current month. We would rather keep clients through results than contracts, and around 80% have stayed with us since 2024.
