The Opportunity

Patients choose a dentist on Google long before they ever ring you

Somebody looking for implants, aligners or an emergency appointment searches, compares two or three practices, reads the reviews and then calls one of them. Whether that is you comes down to whether you appear at all.

Local
patients search within a few miles of home or work, not across a county
High
value private treatments can be worth thousands from a single patient
Trust
reviews and a professional presence decide who gets the call
24/7
patients search evenings and weekends, when your phone lines are closed

Private treatment is where the margin sits

Implants, aligners, veneers and whitening are worth a different order of magnitude to a routine check-up. Campaigns should chase those specifically rather than treating every enquiry as equal.

📍

Target your actual catchment

Patients travel a few miles, not counties. Tight radius targeting stops you paying for clicks from people who were never going to make the journey to your chair.

📈

Patient value is a lifetime, not one visit

A new patient acquired for £80 who stays with you for ten years is a completely different sum to a one-off job. I set the targets around lifetime value, not cost per click.

What I Do

Two channels. One specialist. Both pointed at Google.

I do not sell packages of things you do not need. For a dental practice, two channels move the needle, and I run both of them myself.

💰

Google Ads

Appear at the top of Google the moment a patient searches for the treatment you provide. Fast, targeted and measurable from the first week.

  • Campaigns targeting treatment-led searches like "dental implants" and "invisalign near me" in your area
  • Separate budgets for high value private treatment and general or emergency enquiries
  • Negative keywords filtering out dental nurse jobs, courses and training traffic
  • Ad copy written to meet GDC advertising standards, so nothing puts you at risk of a complaint
  • Landing page management built around booking rather than browsing
  • Call tracking so you know which treatments your phone calls are actually about
🔍

SEO

Build organic visibility for the treatments patients search every day. A well-ranked practice website fills the diary without a cost per click.

  • Treatment pages built around what patients search: implants, aligners, veneers, whitening, emergency
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation to win the Maps pack in your area
  • Review generation strategy, because patients read your reviews before they read your website
  • Technical SEO and site speed improvements for patients searching on a phone
  • Content answering the questions patients ask before they are willing to book
🔗

PPC and SEO together

Run separately, each channel leaves money on the table. Run together, they make each other cheaper and stronger.

  • Real search data from your ads shows me which treatments are worth ranking for organically
  • Strong organic rankings let you pull your paid bids back on the same treatments
  • Holding the ad slot and the Maps result on one search doubles your share of the click
  • One plan, one dashboard, one person accountable for all of it
  • £1,000 a month for both rather than £1,500 for the two separately

I also do web design and social media. Neither is part of these plans, but I will give you honest guidance on both at no cost, and price them separately if you want them handled properly.

Who I Work With

For dental practices at every stage

Whether you are a single site practice or growing a small group, I build the strategy around the patients and treatments you want more of.

01

Single site practices

Independent practices wanting a steady flow of new patients without paying a corporate marketing retainer for the privilege.

02

Growing groups

Practices with two or more sites needing campaigns that work per location rather than one blunt account across all of them.

03

Private and cosmetic focused

Practices where implants, aligners and cosmetic work drive the revenue and the marketing needs to reflect that.

04

Practices shifting away from NHS

If you are building a private mix alongside NHS work, search is the fastest way to reach patients who are ready to pay for it.

How It Works

Simple. Transparent. No jargon.

I make search marketing easy to understand so you can focus on the patients coming through the door, not on trying to decode an agency report.

1

Free consultation and audit

I look at your current visibility, understand which treatments you want more of and which you are already busy with, and identify where the biggest opportunities sit.

2

A plan built around treatment value

I recommend where budget goes between paid and organic based on what a patient is actually worth to you, not on what is easiest for me to sell.

3

I get to work

Campaigns go live, your site and Google Business Profile get optimised, and enquiries start arriving for the treatments you want to be doing.

4

Refine and build

I report as often as you want, in plain English. No vanity metrics, just an honest view of what is working and what I am changing.

Common questions

Something not answered here? Get in touch and I will get straight back to you.

What does it cost? +
Google Ads management is £750 a month. SEO is £750 a month. Both together are £1,000 a month rather than £1,500, which saves you £500 every month. Everything is monthly rolling with no tie-ins, so if it is not working you give notice and walk.
Is my ad spend included in that price? +
No, and that is deliberate. Your ad spend goes straight to Google from your own account, which you own and can see into at any time. My fee covers the strategy, the campaign builds, the ad copy, the ongoing optimisation and the reporting. You always know exactly what you are paying me and exactly what you are paying Google. Nothing is marked up in between.
Why is the combined plan so much cheaper than the two separately? +
Because a lot of the work overlaps. The keyword research, the landing page optimisation and the reporting all serve both channels. Doing that work once for both is more efficient than doing it twice, so I would rather pass the saving to you than charge you twice for the same job.
What ad budget do I need on top of the fee? +
Most practices I work with start somewhere between £750 and £2,000 a month in ad spend. Implant and orthodontic terms are among the more expensive in local search, so a thin budget spread across every treatment tends to achieve nothing. I would rather you fund two treatments properly than six badly. That money goes straight to Google from your own account.
Will my ads comply with GDC advertising standards? +
Yes. Dental advertising sits under GDC guidance and the CAP Code, which means no misleading claims, no pressure tactics, and care around how treatments and prices are described. I write ad copy with those rules in mind from the start rather than treating compliance as something to fix after a complaint. If you have a practice manager or indemnity provider who wants to review copy before it goes live, that is easy to build into the process.
Is Google Ads worth it when implant clicks are so expensive? +
Usually yes, but only if the maths is done properly. A click might cost several pounds and a consultation might take twenty of them, but if one implant case is worth thousands and that patient then stays with the practice, the return is not close. The mistake is judging these campaigns on cost per click instead of cost per case. I set the targets around what a patient is genuinely worth to you.
How long does SEO take to work? +
Meaningful movement usually takes three to six months, and longer in competitive city markets. That is exactly why I recommend running both channels. Paid search brings patients in while the organic work builds, and once the rankings arrive you can pull the paid bids back on those terms.
Can you help with reviews and our Google Business Profile? +
Yes, and for a dental practice it is often the highest-return work available. Patients read reviews before they read your website, and the Maps pack sits above the organic results for almost every local dental search. Profile optimisation and a proper review generation process are both part of the SEO plan rather than an extra.
Am I tied into a long-term contract? +
No. Everything is monthly rolling with no long-term tie-ins. If you want to stop, you simply give notice and are responsible for the current month. I would rather keep clients because the work is delivering than because a contract says they have to stay.
