The Opportunity

The clients worth having are searching, not scrolling

Social media is where people browse. Search is where they commit. Somebody typing interior designer followed by their town has moved past inspiration and is looking for someone to appoint.

Local
most residential clients want a designer who can visit the property
High
project values mean one right client can be worth a quarter of your year
Visual
your portfolio does the selling, but only once people actually find it
24/7
your website is working while you are on site or with a client

Filter for budget, not just interest

Most enquiries from social are browsers who love the pictures and have no budget. Search intent is different, and campaigns can be built to sort the two before anything reaches your inbox.

📍

Target the postcodes where the work is

There is no point appearing for projects in areas where nobody is spending. I target the specific postcodes where your kind of project genuinely happens.

📈

Stop depending on someone else's algorithm

Instagram can halve your reach overnight and you have no say in it. Search visibility is an asset you own, and it keeps working whether or not you posted this week.

What I Do

Two channels. One specialist. Both pointed at Google.

I do not sell packages of things you do not need. For an interior design studio, two channels move the needle, and I run both of them myself.

💰

Google Ads

Appear at the top of Google when somebody is actively looking to appoint a designer in your area. Fast, targeted and measurable from the first week.

  • Campaigns targeting service-led searches like "interior designer" and "kitchen design consultation" in your area
  • Negative keywords blocking the course, software and DIY inspiration traffic that drains design budgets
  • Location targeting limited to the postcodes where your kind of project actually happens
  • Ad copy built around your style, your project types and the level of service you offer
  • Landing page management so enquiries arrive with a budget indication attached
  • Ongoing bid management and campaign optimisation
🔍

SEO

Build organic visibility for the searches clients make when they are ready to appoint. Rankings keep delivering long after the ad budget stops.

  • Keyword targeting around service type and location: residential, commercial, full refurbishment, e-design
  • Project and portfolio pages structured so Google can actually read what is on them
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation for designer searches in your area
  • Technical SEO and image optimisation, since design websites are heavy and almost always slow
  • Content that ranks for the questions clients ask before they commission anyone
🔗

PPC and SEO together

Run separately, each channel leaves money on the table. Run together, they make each other cheaper and stronger.

  • Real search data from your ads shows me which services are worth ranking for organically
  • Strong organic rankings let you pull your paid bids back on the same terms
  • Holding the ad slot and the Maps result on one search doubles your share of the click
  • One plan, one dashboard, one person accountable for all of it
  • £1,000 a month for both rather than £1,500 for the two separately

I also do web design and social media. Neither is part of these plans, but I will give you honest guidance on both at no cost, and price them separately if you want them handled properly.

Who I Work With

For studios at every stage

Whether you are working solo or running a small studio, I build the strategy around the projects you actually want to take on.

01

Solo designers

Working on your own and wanting a steady flow of the right enquiries without spending every evening on social media.

02

Small studios

A handful of staff, looking to grow beyond word of mouth and get selective about which projects you accept.

03

Commercial specialists

Studios working on offices, hospitality and retail, where the buyer searches very differently to a homeowner.

04

Studios relying on Instagram

If your pipeline lives and dies by the algorithm, search gives you a channel you own outright.

How It Works

Simple. Transparent. No jargon.

I make search marketing easy to understand so you can focus on the projects coming in, not on trying to decode an agency report.

1

Free consultation and audit

I look at your current visibility, understand the project types and areas you want more of, and identify where the biggest opportunities sit for your studio specifically.

2

A plan built on what you want to win

I recommend where the budget goes between paid and organic based on your goals, not on what is easiest for me to sell you.

3

I get to work

Campaigns go live, your site gets optimised, and enquiries start arriving from clients who found you directly rather than through a feed.

4

Refine and build

I report as often as you want, in plain English. No vanity metrics, just an honest view of what is working and what I am changing.

Common questions

Something not answered here? Get in touch and I will get straight back to you.

What does it cost? +
Google Ads management is £750 a month. SEO is £750 a month. Both together are £1,000 a month rather than £1,500, which saves you £500 every month. Everything is monthly rolling with no tie-ins, so if it is not working you give notice and walk.
Is my ad spend included in that price? +
No, and that is deliberate. Your ad spend goes straight to Google from your own account, which you own and can see into at any time. My fee covers the strategy, the campaign builds, the ad copy, the ongoing optimisation and the reporting. You always know exactly what you are paying me and exactly what you are paying Google. Nothing is marked up in between.
Why is the combined plan so much cheaper than the two separately? +
Because a lot of the work overlaps. The keyword research, the landing page optimisation and the reporting all serve both channels. Doing that work once for both is more efficient than doing it twice, so I would rather pass the saving to you than charge you twice for the same job.
What ad budget do I need on top of the fee? +
Most studios I work with start somewhere between £500 and £1,500 a month in ad spend. I would rather you spend properly across a tight set of postcodes than thinly across a whole county, because a design enquiry from the wrong area is worth nothing. That money goes straight to Google from your own account, and I will tell you honestly what your area needs before you commit.
I get most of my work from Instagram. Why would I bother with search? +
Because they do different jobs. Instagram builds desire in people who were not looking, which is valuable but slow and largely out of your control. Search catches people at the point they have decided to appoint someone and are choosing between studios. The two work well together, but only one of them is an asset you own outright.
My website is very image-heavy. Is that a problem for SEO? +
It is usually the single biggest one. Design websites tend to be beautiful and extremely slow, and Google treats page speed as a ranking factor while visitors simply leave. Image compression, lazy loading and proper alt text are part of the SEO work, and on a portfolio site they often deliver more than anything else in the first month.
How long does SEO take to work? +
Meaningful movement usually takes three to six months, and longer in London. That is exactly why I recommend running both channels. Paid search brings enquiries while the organic work builds, and once the rankings arrive you can pull the paid bids back on those terms.
Can you help me attract higher budget projects rather than more enquiries? +
Yes, and it is usually the more useful goal. More enquiries is easy. Better enquiries comes from targeting specific postcodes, writing ad copy that signals your level of service rather than hiding it, and building landing pages that ask about budget and scope before someone submits. Fewer, better-qualified enquiries beats a full inbox of browsers every time.
Am I tied into a long-term contract? +
No. Everything is monthly rolling with no long-term tie-ins. If you want to stop, you simply give notice and are responsible for the current month. I would rather keep clients because the work is delivering than because a contract says they have to stay.
